Our fees are – our staged services provision for a fee – based on your individually tailored stages – to suit your car-buying journey’s needs.
DABAS’s fee structure is modest – when you consider/compare your own normal paid hourly rate in your career, then multiplied hours of your time taken by going through your car-buying journey alone.
DABAS’s fees charged for your individually tailored advocacy stages/services/package are generally absorbed most times in the savings obtained for you from the yards $RRP at the time of your vehicles purchase and later by the hours saved from avoiding – at times – the long-term costs from choices made if you had gone through the selection and car buying total process alone.
DABAS offers flexible personal assistance to clients on their car-buying journey tailored to suit their individual budgetary needs. DABAS services can be delivered in a vast variety of ways, including – but not limited to – phone consultation/s, Zoom meetings, research emails, research links, LMCT yard email link referrals, face-to-face meetings at a car-yard/s, in the cafe at an LMCT car-yard or at the café of a leading Melbourne automotive auction house; even in your home if required.
The choice of consultative and meeting style is totally yours pending personal needs and the urgency timelines of being behind the wheel of your next car.
DABAS services are offered flexibly – as stages in a journey – you pick what stage of your journey you may need DABAS’s assistance with, maybe the full journey – or – just vehicle selection/clarification – or – onto just a car-yard buffer zone and help with the LMCT yard process?
DABAS does charge a modest – $195 (GST included) client account establishment and research fee for first-time customers.

The stage two meeting is charged and invoiced separately – as are all stages.
Why does DABAS charge this establishment fee, you may ask?
Answer: DABAS charges this modest $195 (GST included) initial research and establishment fee to cover the initial research/communiction/s, administration time and travel time expenses incurred in researching and communicating the suggested suitable vehicle/s LMCT yard/s on behalf of the clients personal needs, etc.
This fee also verifies the client’s serious intent of buying a car – and is always paid prior to DABAS stage two.
STAGE 2’s fee cost – is pending the chosen stage two meetings/consultative delivery style plus location of your choice, eg. as an example – a Zoom meeting or phone conference does cost less than a face-to-face meeting in the clients home at a postcode requiring two hours of travel time. Whilst also noting that meeting at a car-yard does expedite your journeys stages, thus saving you fees – (ref-see the basics page here).
Generally in most cases – after stage one is complete – most individual future stages cost between $195 and $350 a stage pending the meetings location/setting and its time in communication/s hours and travel.
The choice of a consultative meeting at or near a LMCT yard/s multi-brand franchise hub as your stage 2 represents the best value option for most clients by expediting your car-buying journey stages, thus saving you money in fees. With this option you also could have the chance to see touch and feel, maybe even drive? – the potentially selected vehicle/s: rather than just hear/read about them as consultative advice in another setting.
Full prices of each stage/s are quoted on application depending on your personal needs and individual car-buying guidance and knowledge required – along with your communicated DABAS journey requirements. Personally tailored to suit YOU and your budget.
How many stages you desire is entirely up to you?
There is no sales pressure from DABAS – demonstrated by – After your DABAS client account is established – each stage is then invoiced individually prior to the next stages progression – hence – there is no pressure to go any further stages than you may need or desire, it’s quite simple, each DABAS stage service attracts a separate individual fee for the desired stage -pending location/service-time/travel time: which means there are no budgetary surprises for you – or ballooning bills.
